Grant Writer

Work on a project to write and submit a number of grant applications for this worthwhile charity & research new opportunities. 6 month contract.
Great opportunity to work for this progressive not-for-profit in a role where you will be working on a project to write grant applications and research potential new applications.  Inner West Location.  6 month contract which could lead to permanent work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Write and submit grant applications
  • Work in conjunction with other parties to identify new grant sources
  • Deliver effective grant management, including negotiating grant contracts and ensuring contractual compliance
  • Conduct research to identify and prioritise funding opportunities
  • Work with internal stakeholders to collate project information
  • Prepare relevant reports

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong written communication skills
  • Previous experience in writing grants, trust & foundations, policy etc.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Experience in researching grants/trusts & foundations

RESPONSIBILTIES:
  
  • Responsible for the delivery of promotional fundraising initiatives – generating revenue growth in NT
  • Build positive stakeholder relationships
  • Provide project management support for newly created and existing partnerships
  • Service and retain existing partnerships
  • Provide support for promotional and fundraising events – travel as required to attend events and support volunteers
  • Coordinate and recruit volunteers
  • Plan and execute an annual event
  • Forecast income, monitor and maintain expenditure
  
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous experience where your role has been focused on supporting key partnerships, projects or business development
